How To Register For Programs Using RecDesk

If you would like to register for one of our fun and exciting programs online but don't know how to have no fear! We are here to help. The first step is going to be creating a user account for RecDesk. It is simple and free to do! Depending on what operating system you are on, you will need to locate the words "Sign In" on your screen. That will take you to the login page where you can sign in or create a new account. Once you have completed that, head over to the Programs section of the website. Once you have found the program you would like to participate in, click on the class listing to get to the full description or "Detail". You will see a tab for "Fees" and "Schedule" once you are in the "Detail" portion. You can find out more about the dates/times, location, and costs on either of these tabs. When you are ready to register for the program, click on the "Register" button on the main "Detail" tab for that program. You will be able to register and pay online or just register if the program is free to participate program. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Resident vs Non-Resident Fees

You will notice that we are rolling out different fees for residents and non-residents for some of our programs. We have always had this distinction for our gym memberships and facility rentals and are now introducing it to our programs. If you try to register for a program and get an error message saying that "Fee not valid for residency" please take a moment to head into your account profile. Under the General Information section, there is an address section. There you will see that you have a designation of either "Resident" or "Non-Resident".  Just to note, you can live in Swansboro or have a 28584 postal code and be considered non-resident. To be considered a resident in the system, you must be within the city limits. You can also check for yourself on the Geographical Information Services map for Onslow County by using the search function on this website https://maps.onslowcountync.gov/ The properties filled in pink in the Swansboro are considered to be within city limits. If your property is not filled in pink, you are not within city limits.
